About
Robin Roy is the OneBC candidate for Abbotsford South, filed with Elections BC for the October 24, 2026 election after the party had already announced him. OneBC says he was born in Weyburn, Saskatchewan, spent his childhood in Chilliwack and Abbotsford, attending Unsworth Elementary and Yale Junior High, and that his family then lived almost 10 years in Victoria. He has spent his adult life in Langley and now lives in Abbotsford. The party says he started a construction company in Victoria, opened another after returning to the mainland, and in 1998 moved into information technology; he operates a computer-service company working with clients across the Lower Mainland. OneBC says he has been married for 34 years and has three adult children and one grandchild. No earlier candidacy turned up in records checked for this profile.
