Diana Gibson is the BC NDP candidate for Oak Bay-Gordon Head and the sitting MLA, first elected in 2024. She became Minister of Citizens’ Services in July 2025 after serving as Minister of Jobs, Economic Development and Innovation. Before provincial politics she led Greater Victoria’s Community Social Planning Council, co-founded the Firelight Group, and directed a university social-policy research institute.
