Niki Sharma is the BC NDP candidate for Vancouver-Hastings and the sitting MLA, first elected in 2020 and re-elected in 2024. She is Deputy Premier and Attorney General of British Columbia. A lawyer who previously represented Indigenous clients including residential-school survivors, she has also advocated on climate, reconciliation, and anti-racism issues.
