Grace Lore is the BC NDP candidate for Victoria-Beacon Hill and the sitting MLA, first elected in 2020 and re-elected in 2024. She previously served as Parliamentary Secretary for Gender Equity, Minister of State for Child Care, and Minister of Children and Family Development; since 2025 she has continued in cabinet as a minister without portfolio while recovering from cancer treatment. Before politics she was a university instructor and researcher in political science and gender and politics.
