Linda Li
Linda Li is the BC NDP candidate for Richmond-Bridgeport in the 2026 provincial election. Active in Richmond since 1996, she has been involved with the Richmond Chinese Community Society and the Richmond Hospital Foundation and works as managing broker at Metrohome Realty Ltd. She was the NDP’s nominee in the same riding for the 2024 provincial election and was again nominated for 2026.
Teresa Wat
Teresa Wat is the Conservative Party of B.C. candidate for Richmond-Bridgeport and the sitting MLA since 2013 (including earlier representation of Richmond Centre/related Ridings). She is critic for Multiculturalism and Community Partnerships and previously served as Minister of International Trade and Multiculturalism (2013–2017) under a BC Liberal government; she later moved from BC United to the Conservatives. Before politics she worked in communications and journalism in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Canada, including as news director at Channel M and CEO of Mainstream Broadcasting.
