Amna Shah is the BC NDP candidate for Surrey City Centre and the sitting MLA, first elected in 2024. She serves as Parliamentary Secretary for Mental Health and Addictions and for Anti-Racism Initiatives, and as Deputy Government Whip. She has lived in Surrey for nearly 20 years, previously worked as Outreach Director for the BC Government Caucus, and served on the Surrey Food Bank board.

Zeeshan Wahla is the Conservative Party of B.C. candidate for Surrey City Centre. A Surrey-based professional engineer and entrepreneur, he runs an engineering consulting business and is registered as a P.Eng. in four provinces. He arrived in Canada in 2007 and previously ran for the Conservatives in the riding in 2024. Stated campaign priorities include health care, education, public safety, and affordability.
